From Insight to Action - Creating Your Best Life

Purposeful Pathways

Hello Reader,

Throughout this month, we’ve explored some big questions about living our best lives. We’ve looked at the gap between where we are and where we want to be, and we’ve discussed the importance of intentional living. Now it’s time for the most crucial step: taking action.

Your best life isn’t going to arrive fully formed on your doorstep. It’s built decision by decision, action by action, day by day. But here’s the exciting part – you don’t have to figure it out alone, and you don’t have to get it perfect from the start.

I recently worked with a client who spent years “preparing” to make changes in his life. He had journals full of plans and insights, but fear of making the wrong move kept him stuck. Together, we developed a simple but powerful approach: take one aligned action each day, no matter how small. Within three months, these micro-actions had created massive momentum in his life.

This Week’s Tool: The 1% Better Blueprint This powerful framework turns insights into actionable steps: 1. Choose one area from your Life Wheel Assessment (March 12) that you want to improve 2. Write down your ultimate vision for this area 3. Break this vision down into 30 micro-actions (one for each day) 4. Each action should take 5 minutes or less 5. Track your progress with a simple check-mark system

Example for “Health”: - Day 1: Do 1 minute of stretching - Day 2: Drink one extra glass of water - Day 3: Take a 5-minute walk - Continue building gradually…

Remember: Small actions, consistently taken, create extraordinary results.

Your best life is waiting for you, but it needs your participation. It needs you to: - Stop waiting for the perfect moment - Start taking imperfect action - Trust that clarity comes through movement - Believe that you deserve more than just getting by

As we conclude this series, I want to invite you to take the most important step – reaching out for support. As your coach, I can help you: - Clarify what your best life looks like - Identify what’s holding you back - Create actionable strategies for moving forward - Stay accountable to your goals

Don’t let another month go by wondering if you’re living your best life. Contact me at empowered@coachedbyernest.com to schedule a complimentary strategy session. Together, we can turn your insights into action and your dreams into reality.

Unapologetic February 3, 2026 Hi Reader, In 1978, futurist Roy Amara made an observation that explains exactly why you're struggling right now: We tend to overestimate the effect of a technology in the short run and underestimate the effect in the long run. This isn't just about technology. It's about your unapologetic journey. The Timeline You're Fighting You stopped code-switching at work three weeks ago. You expected relief. Instead: Still exhausting. Still uncomfortable. Still wondering...

What is your "perfection" actually buying you?

Unapologetic January 13, 2026 Hi Reader, The Transaction I was talking to a brother recently who named something so clearly I had to share it with you. He’s the most accomplished in his family—the one everyone looks to. But he admitted that his drive for perfection is actually a calculation. He tries to be so flawless in his career and status so that when people learn he’s SGL, they’ll say: “Well… at least he’s successful.” He’s using his success to offset his humanity. Does that sound...

Purposeful Pathways July 9, 2025 Dear Reader, I had a conversation with a friend last weekend that stopped me in my tracks. “I’m so behind,” she said, talking about her friend’s early retirement, her sister’s dream vacation lifestyle, her former colleague’s successful consulting business. “Everyone else has it figured out, and I’m just… stuck.” She’s 62, has built a solid career over decades, raised successful children, and is actively working toward meaningful goals for this next chapter....
